Letter From Oakland County Mental Health Athourity Dear Community Partner: Over the past year Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority has been working with its Provider Network agencies to transition all its access functions for public mental health services to a centralized location. This means persons inquiring, seeking, wanting to know if they are eligible for public mental health services in Oakland County will now call our Resource and Crisis Helpline at 1 (800) 231-1127. This includes persons with developmental disabilities and children with serious emotional disturbances beginning November 13, 2007. The access function for adults with mental illness was transitioned in July 2007. Also available through the Resource and Crisis Helpline is community resources and referrals, mental health screening and assessment, advocacy and support and crisis intervention. The Resource and Crisis Helpline is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. See the above flier for information about our Resource and Crisis Helpline. Please share it with your friends and contacts. Thank you, Vicki L. Suder Communication and Education Manager (248) 858-1235 |
