Easter Seals hears comments from For Women Only participants all year long, and sometimes - like Ray Williams, of the SnomadS Snofari Club - even from their club treasurers! We hear about the friendships, the laughter, the camaraderie and their personal and individual drive to return year after year to see their ‘friends’. They see the smiles on the faces of the Honorary Ambassadors. They come away from the weekend knowing they have helped a great cause that benefits children and adults with disabilities in Michigan. And they have a great time with family, friends and co-workers who also ride. Ray shares, "The SnomadS Snofari Club takes great pride in the efforts and accomplishments of our FWO riders. Support of charitable causes is included in our mission statement and the Easter Seals FWO event has been our cause of choice for the 22 years our ladies have participated. Our club has social events throughout the year and the raffles, 50/50 drawings and fund raising sales are a part of each event.

The economic downturn has decreased the ranks of our membership and made fundraising more difficult but also seemed to inspire our fundraising efforts to new heights. Our 12 SnomadS members welcomed the new FWO ride venue and look forward to next year. A tab on our website (http://www.snomads.org/) is dedicated to their [ongoing] efforts. Our helmets are off to these incredible women."

• At the event you'll be greeted at the registration check in area where you’ll receive your commemorative shirt, pin and goodie bag!
• You’ll meet the leaders and tails of the groups and sign up for your choice of guided snowmobile rides of the riding style and distance you prefer.
• You will meet your Honorary Ambassador and their family... who has directly benefited from Easter Seals services.
• You’ll attend a meet and greet appetizer reception on Friday evening.
• All meals on Saturday are included as well as either a relaxing or energizing afternoon Saturday afternoon with a very interactive and fun award celebration Saturday evening!
